The Non-Designer’s Design Book

When you start your own busi­ness, you should hire a pro­fes­sional to design your mar­ket­ing mate­ri­als and cor­po­rate iden­tity, some com­pany like Trend­set­ting Ser­vices Inc. If you insist on going cheap, and doing it your­self, at least learn the basics of page lay­out from this book.

The Pre­sen­ta­tion Secrets of Steve Jobs: How to Be Insanely Great in Front of Any Audience

Steve Jobs is arguably one of the best speak­ers in the world. This book analy­ses his style and breaks it down into easy to under­stand ideas which should allow any­one to improve the com­mu­ni­ca­tion of their mes­sage. The infor­ma­tion in this book can be applied to much more than just pre­sen­ta­tions. Every­one should read this if you want to improve the way to get your mes­sage across.

A good starter book when it comes to your per­sonal finances. Not a lot of “meat”, but a good way to explain some basic concepts.
